Wash Day Scrunch
With the launch of a brand new curly hair product from Aveda, a few of our stylists have been playing around with their natural texture. With the help of Nutriplenish Curl Gelée and a diffuser attachment for her blowdryer, Amanda was able to achieve an elevated tousled look in under 15 minutes.
Bouncy Coils
The hand coiling method can really take your curly style to the next level. During Vanessa’s curly hair wash day vlog she is showing you how she accentuates her curl pattern by creating defined coils with her fingers. This can also be created with a deman style brush. Essentially, you’re creating tension in the strands and forming the type of corkscrew curl.
Curl Refresh
It’s day two and your curls are looking a little drab. Annie shows you the best way to pump up your style with just a little product and a small curling iron. First she starts with a product that will give her hair a touch of texture so the curls she creates with heat will hold up through out the day like her natural curls. She then takes a 3/4” - 1” round curling iron and wraps small pieces like it is a curling wand. Separate each curl to blend, add your favorite finishing spray and you have a completely refreshed look for day two or even day three.
