Weft Extensions

Brushing
To keep hair tangle-free, brush daily with the Bellami Boar Brush.
Gather your hair into a ponytail. Start brushing the ends, working your way up toward the scalp.
Brush on top and underneath the weft to help remove the natural shed.
Washing
Brush your hair before washing to remove any knots or tangles.
You can section your hair or use multiple ponytails to wash it in parts.
Was your hair in lukewarm water, gently massaging a hydrating, sulfate-free shampoo into your scalp in a “z” pattern.
Conditioning
Apply conditioner from mid-length to ends, leave it on for 2-3 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.
NOTE: Conditioner or silicon-based products at or near the attachment points may make wefts slide out.

Drying
Apply leave-in conditioner, heat protectant, or treatment oil from mid-length to ends to protect your extensions.
Before using a blowdryer, towel-dry or air-dry your hair as much as possible.
Use cool or warm temperatures when blow-drying near the spine.
Styling
Bellami hair extensions are safe with thermal tools - always use a heat protectant before styling!
Set the temperature between 270°F and 450°F, depending on your hair type.
Infinity Weft: Avoid direct heat on the spine. Maintain a distance of 1-2” with hot tools.

Swimming
Avoid chemical-based sunscreens as they can discolor your hair; use mineral-based options instead.
Wet your hair with freshwater and apply leave-in conditioner from mid-length to ends. Then, tie it in a loose ponytail or braid.
After swimming, rinse with freshwater and reapply the leave-in.
Sleeping
Gently brush your hair and loosely braid it before sleeping.
Avoid sleeping with wet hair, as it can tangle at the scalp.
Coloring
Do not color your hair extensions at home. Consult a certified Bellami Stylist for any color services.
