Reel Roundup | Summer Style Series
Summer is the perfect time to breakout your favorite hair accessories so you get your hair off your neck. These styles are simples ways to elevate your looks while staying cool during this Texas heat wave.
Piggies or Bunnies?
As simple as it gets. This topsy tail tiny pigtails is the perfect way to get your hair out of your face. You’re going to take small section on either side of your part and secure them with a clear elastic. Be sure to not create a pony that is too tight or you will not be able to properly flip the tail under. Split the section in half near the base of the pony, flip the tail through the opening and tighten down. You can putt the base apart a little to create some volume at the root, repeat on the other side and you have yourself a cute everyday style.
Pull Through Scarf
This style is a bit more tricky but totally worth the effort. You’re going to grab your favorite scarf to add a little extra something to the traditional pull through braid. We recommend keeping someone nearby because you may need a bit of assistance once you get near the bottom on the pony.
Bandanna Days
Mary Kate and Ashley called and they want their style back. To bad for them because we aren’t letting this one go. This bandana is the perfect size for this style because it was made to be worn as a head band. Genus. The small braids around the face just a little extra but can be left out if you want more hair pull back behind the bandanna.
Bubble Braids
If you haven’t caught on by now, we love a good bubble braid. They are such a simple braid that we truly believe anyone can master. This style features some tiny daisy clips that fit in perfectly.
